Over a year ago, the youth had begun an initiative to complete 1,000,000 Chaupai Sahibs, which was completed last year in June. But due to demand, they were requested by the sangat to continue the seva and now the initiative has reached a quarter of a billion Chaupai Sahibs completed by Sikhs from more than 36 countries around the world. The spectrum of sangat that took part has been amazing from young and old, all were praying for the blessings of Guru Ji to continue to guide the Khalsa Panth through the days of darkness.
The ardas for the completion of 2.5 million Chaupai Sahib has been arranged for 13th March 2010, the venue can be found at the bottom of the page. There will also be a continuous 24 Hour Chaupai Sahib Jaap which will begin on 12th March at 6pm until 13th March 6pm. This will be followed until midnight by Kirtan, Katha (english & Panjabi), Kaveshar and more!
