Q. I am trying to watch the podcast on YouTube™ but it doesn’t load.
A. Sometimes we are very lazy and our minds fail us. The usual problem is because we left it so late to upload the podcast, the YouTube™ service needs time to package the podcast. This is not YouTube’s™ fault beccause we usually upload them in advance under privacy settings to make sure they are ready for Friday’s, but alas, nobody is perfect and we are no exception.
Q. I want you to release a film I have designed under The Sikhs: A Video Podcast.
A. We love that somebody else would like to research into Sikhi and produce a visually stimulating piece of art. We would also to be more than happy to use your piece in the Podcast. There are some guidelines however, please submit artwork in either wmv/m4v/mp4/avi formats. All copyrighted material must be clearly labelled. Size must not exceed a 1 minutes : 30 megabytes ratio (e.g. a 3 minute film must not exceed 90megabytes). No film should exceed 10 minutes or 300 megabytes.
We would also like to stress we are not able to offer any money for these projects as we are a non-profit organisation and we ourselves to not charge for any of our services.

Q. How do I complain?
A. We would like to apologise that you feel the need to complain. As we are not a regulated body all complaints must be forwarded to us, our e-mail address is info@thesikhspodcast.com. Although we are not a regulated body, we take all complaints seriously and will address them accordingly.
Q. Why isn’t the podcast available yet?
A. We would like to apologise for this, we can understand the frustration this can cause. Although we aim to upload the podcasts by the times stated below, this is not always possible. This can be due to server problems or other committments. Great care is taken to ensure we are not late, but this is not always possible. If however, the podcast is not available after 12 hours after the times stated below, and there are no announcements on our website, please contact us as we may be unaware of the problem at info@thesikhspodcast.com .
Q. Why isn’t there sound available on some podcasts on YouTube™?
A. We would firstly like to apologise for this. Sound on a podcast can become unavailable because we use sound from sources that have copyrighted it. We are, by law, allowed to use such material on our podcasts without prior permission from the copyright holder. However, in light of recent cases of copyright infringements, YouTube™ automatically mutes all sound it recognises as a copyrighted source. This can be disputed in cases such as ours, after which, if successful, the sound is restored. However, this is quite a slow process and sometimes can take weeks, so until it is resolved, sound would remain muted. Again, we would like to apologise.
